Faheem SolangiPostdoctoral Associate
Faheem is from Pakistan, where he received his BS (Chemistry) in 2007 from the University of Sindh. He then moved to Malaysia to do his Masters in Chemistry from Universiti Sains Malaysia under the supervision of Associate Prof. Wong Keng Chong and Prof. Hasnah Osman. He then pursued his PhD (2017) from the University of Queensland, Australia under the supervision of Prof. Michael Monteiro. After his PhD, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the same research group. There he worked to develop complex polymer architectures using CuAAC ‘click’ chemistry. Faheem joined the Barnes group at Washington University in St. Louis in April 2017 as a Postdoctoral Associate, where he is excited to work on redox responsive polymers.
