Jaume is from Barcelona, Spain. He graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2017 with a BS in Chemistry and in 2018 with an MS in Chemistry and Advanced Materials. His undergraduate research under Dr. Jordi Hernando and Dr. Claudio Roscini was focused on chromogenic materials. In 2019 he started his Ph.D. thesis on stimuli-responsive optical materials based on molecular dye aggregates and organic phase change materials, again under the supervision of Dr. Jordi Hernando and Dr. Claudio Roscini. Jaume joined the Barnes Lab as a visiting student to learn about the redox compounds and technologies of our group.
